AI and Human Rights 101
On May 13, 2025, at 4:00 PM (Moscow time), an online webinar titled “AI and Human Rights 101” will be held, organized by the Global Compact Network USA in collaboration with the B-Tech team of the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR).
The event is dedicated to the 76th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and will be the first in a two-part series focused on ethics and human rights in the context of the rapid development of artificial intelligence technologies.
The webinar will provide participants with an introductory overview of the intersection between AI and human rights, as well as practical examples of implementing human rights due diligence (HRDD) in the operations of tech companies. This event will be useful for both UN Global Compact participants and the broader audience interested in the responsible use of AI.
Participation is free, but registration is required. Even if you are unable to attend live, registering will grant you access to the webinar recording.
